Employee Spotlight: Ryosuke Jinno
Previously a stock broker in Japan, Ryosuke Jinno transitioned to the game industry in the early 2000s to become a pioneer in the mobile gaming market. He’s worked on numerous popular titles, including Street Fighter IV, Smurfs Village, and Double Dragon, and introduced the concept of the “virtual d-pad.” Today, Ryosuke works across Western and Asian markets to cultivate global business opportunities for developers and publishers alike as DDM Japan’s Business Development Manager.
Outside of work, Ryosuke finds time to indulge in the latest mobile games and trends to inspire his creativity. He also appreciates cinema—American Graffiti, Shawshank Redemption, and Seven Samurai are a few of his favorites. And when it comes to gaming, Ryosuke enjoys Chrono Trigger, Shadow of the Colossus, and the Metal Gear series. It’s not officially confirmed, but Ryosuke is believed to hold a world record in Crash Nitro Kart.
