Client Highlight: Keen Games

Founded in 2005, Keen Games is one of Germany’s best-established console, PC and mobile game developers. Having adopted the “games as a service” approach seven years ago, now all of the studio’s games are based on the model. Keen Games ensures that their games appeal to a broad audience with a particular focus on compelling multiplayer strategy, action and RPG genres. Anno: Create a New World, mobile title, Royal Revolt 2 and PC, console and mobile title, Portal Knights, which was published by 505 Games, demonstrate Keen Games’ ability to create diverse, high-quality player experiences.

Royal Revolt 2 has proved massively successful. The game has remained in live service for five years, continues to receive substantial updates, reaches more than 30 million players and holds a 4.5-star rating from more than a million reviews. Portal Knights is available for nearly every platform, including PC (Steam as well as several Chinese platforms), PS4, Xbox One, Switch, iOS and Android. The game has been in live service for three years with millions of copies sold worldwide.
