DDM Games Investment Review

DDM recently acquired Digi-Capital’s games intelligence business, which powers the newly minted DDM Games Investment Review. The DDM Games Investment Review includes both a brand new Games Visualization Platform and the Games Reports, which Digi-Capital has supplied to the market for more than a decade. Here is DDM’s Q4 2019 Games Industry Overview:

DDM now forecasts games industry software/hardware combined revenue over $250 billion by 2024, with games software alone over $200 billion in the same timeframe. DDM also tracked over $7 billion games investment in 2019, together with nearly $3 billion games M&A in the last 12 months.

Yet the games industry isn’t a giant monobloc. It spans 15 sectors, eight platform types (e.g., mobile, PC, console) and many different individual hardware/software platforms (e.g., iOS, Android, Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo Switch, etc.). Keep reading.
