Client Highlight: Kinali

Kinali is an all-new publisher based in Monterrey, Mexico currently developing its first project, a JRPG-inspired game infused with an international sensibility. The Kinali team was borne from another media-based company called Akaya Media (a successful webcomics platform), building off a long history of collaborating with writers and artists from different backgrounds to offer “intricate, long-term projects” to a global audience. Working with DDM, the team developed a new publishing organization this summer, driven by a shared passion and thoughtful intention of working in the video game industry, working to publish culturally refreshing, dynamic and (most importantly) fun gaming experiences across various platforms. To quote its founder Adrian Lozano, “We want to create new classics for modern generations.”
