DDM Engages Harald Riegler as Executive Consulting Partner

Before founding his current ventures, Gamedev Consult and gamesindustry.network, Harald Riegler was studio CEO at Austrian developer Sproing for 17 years (Skyrama, Asterix & Friends, Panzer Tactics). He also co-founded Belgian Developer Neopica (FIA Truck Racing) and Purple Lamp Studios (Spongebob: Battle for Bikini Bottom Rehydrated, The Guild 3). He was also a shareholder in an online gambling business that successfully exited in 2010. He has been managing development teams during his entire career.

Harald’s focus is on advising companies in building, managing, restructuring and growing development studios, including multi-project teams. He has great experience in mentoring and coaching studio leadership personnel, as well as assessing and managing game projects and studios. After more than 60 shipped projects on console, PC, web and mobile for many different publishers in dozens of different setups, he has in-depth knowledge of the space, including extensive experience in making and running successful F2P games. Uniquely, he has personally designed several hit games while also having pitched, negotiated and managed all major business deals for his companies.

When he’s not working, he’s typically on the pitch coaching soccer kids, snowboarding or making electronic music.
